Valencia Basket returns to action hosting Río Breogán
Valencia Basket returns to compete twelve days after its last official game to host Río Breogán at La Fonteta (Sunday 19, 8:00 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 1) in a game corresponding to Endesa League round 14 in a clash of two teams looking for a win that brings them closer to being in the Copa del Rey in Granada.
After the postponement of their games against Monbús Obradoiro and Frutti Extra Bursaspor due to the detection of Covid-19 positives in the team and a week in which the players have had to practice individually until now, the taronja squad will try to recover the path of victory in the national competition and to become strong again on a court where he has added his last two acb games as victories.
Regarding their last meeting in Venezia, the taronja team recovers point guard Sam Van Rossom while Neno Dimitrijevic is already cured of the rupture in the hamstring muscles of the right leg that has kept him sidelined since October 23, although the circumstances of this atypical week have prevented him from testing himself with the group to measure his feelings.
The Taronja team will try to extend its good dynamics against this rival (which it has won in its last eight visits to the Fonteta and with which it has not lost at home since 1995). Valencia Basket is currently seventh in the Endesa League with a balance of 7-5.
